Corvus is so good in half cash and red border chimps, really nice that he can often just save a run with better micro. Imo, the base game mid-round farming/tower placement/upgrade micro is just too much to handle while using Corvus, kinda wish NK nerfs buying towers mid-round, like towers wouldn't generate end of round cash/benefit from banana upgrades until the next round. Obviously they'd need to raise global cash generation by like +5%, but it would make bosses so much more fun and make the game more fair for mobile/console players

Playing corvus feels like a full time job. Im fine with hin being strong but hard and time consuming to use

Corvus's nourishment should work like his spear attack where it goes down in mana passively

Corvus is extremely powerful, even when looking from a new player perspective. But for me, there is a coupe issues 1. He is micro intensive it requires full attention, something that I can’t give 100% of the time 2. Why use this guy when other options exist that make the game easier? Why use him over sauda on most easy maps? 3. He is so complex that if would require more time to get a little better, not worth it. He’s super strong, I just think his design it’s what hurts him which is sad.

When you play with Covus as your hero you're not playing Bloon TD6. You are playing Corvus mini RTS desguised as a TD game.

This rework is definitely a step in the right direction. Honestly my issue with Corvus has been how clunky it feels to use his abilities. I had the same issue with Geraldo, but with Geraldo, at least you generally use abilities rarely. With Corvus, though, that huge UI element and selection are up most of the time. One of the easiest fixes to that in my book would be to just have the abilities appear in the bottom row as they unlock. That would make him a bit more reliant on the player developing a firm memory of what each ability does, but they would be much less clunky to use. If UI space would be an issue, they could be part of their own little dropdown menu.

He's still my 2nd favorite hero but I only use him and Geraldo for harder maps since I do like to use other easier heros for fun

Of course they had to ruin corvus too. He was already a pain to use but he was good. Now they made him not worth the trouble anymore

While I don't particularly use Corvus, I don't know why ninja kiwi is lowering the skill ceiling for it. Sure, some people don't like to micro, but others do. I do understand bringing the overall power level down, but no reason to lessen micro for those who want to do it. We have a lot of "drop and forget" heroes already, so there's no need to dumb down a hero for this reason.

I feel like it's a good thing that heroes play differently, I hope geraldo stays geraldo with a focus on his shop & corvus stays corvus with a focus on his spells. There's no need for heroes to be identical because you can simply choose what hero you want to play

I personally think Corvus macro is really fun, people say it’s annoying and not worth the effort but it’s a video game i like macroing its more fun than just waiting for the round to end

Bro releases these old, tiny changes and calls it a rework and acts like it will make players wanna play him. Huge, annoying click bait mate. I played him a while ago and nothing in this video is new. This video just screams "out of ideas" so you went and covered something outdated that changed nothing for hiw people see this hero. All it did was make him weaker as you can't power level him as much. Yes, the passive mana regen is nice, but it changes nothing about people disliking to micro him 24/7. Active ace micro is chill compared to just playing this guy well. So no thank you. To re-emphasize, don't lie to us by acting like this is some big change meant to make players wanna play him more. It's a rebalance which does NOT adress the fact that he's too mucro heavy since the nourishment resets were optional anyways. You're vastly overselling tiny changes at the start of the video.

I still used Corvus a ton before this change, it'll be interesting to see how he is now, I'm hoping they haven't nerfed him tho

Would it be a bad idea to have an option to make Corvus automatic? The same way we can choose targetting, we could be able to choose between manually casting spells and automatically casting them, when you use the automatic mode you get to choose 3 spells for when bloons are at 25% 50% and 75% (like the commanche). Of course automatic mode would be miles worse than manual, but for beginners and/or people that don’t want to macro it would make him more usable, while not taking anything away from people that enjoy him like he is now

with recovery no longer working on nourishment, there's not really any point in recovery ever being used, realistically the damage he provides at base is always going to outweigh the tradeoff of shorter cooldowns, not a big fan of the lowering of that skill ceiling, feels punishing for no reason, could've kept that while still improving the qol of using him bc of how much skill expression is available with him

Corvus and Geraldo both hold the title for being insanely strong but so annoying to actually use that nobody uses them.

What I dont like on Corvus is that he doesnt have lead and camo detection without using his skills, i would rather use Psi

I don’t like how recovery doesn’t affect nourishment now. It feels like it takes away freedom by not allowing us to use it. There was no harm in keeping it in the game.

i loved Corvus when he first came out, he was the first time i tried any real microing and it was pretty fun. but they it became repetitive and i havent used him for a while now, so yea this rework very nice/
